A silent scream from an animal’s throat
A knife pulled slowly as the slaughter man gloats
A live sacrificed for corporate greed
A live food source for which there is no need

From green open fields to the butchers slab
Terror in the slaughthouse, madness in the lab
Packed onto trucks then packed into bags
A guilt free meal if you don’t think to hard

So were a nation of animal lovers don’t make me laugh
As the police smash another demo outside a lab

Food poison scares, meats rotten no one cares
Animals locked up in a cage, blinded by science, silent rage
Such untold cruelty for a drug we can’t afford
Is the real price of beauty really worth the cost?
