As the world lurches towards global energy crises
Power hungry greedy corporations increase their prices
Panic buying starts on an unprecedented scale
All the lights go out as the power systems fail

Alternative power sources are shot down in flames
The nimbys cry no wind power so who’s to fucken blame
When the government is pushing for more nuclear power
It safe, clean and green shit’s the propaganda machine

It’s in the corporates interest to bleed the earth dry
With no thought to the future as people start to die
Claim social responsibility and turn a blind eye
As their power source runs out and the people start to die

As the oil the corporate depend on comes from more unstable countries
So we cease to question their politics and breach of human rights
For what they are providing is worth more than human life
We roll over and take it, give up without a fight

And standing in the corner nuclear powers back in fashion
And multi-nationals rub their hands and start to fucken cash in
On a filthy source of power that will last for 25 years
But the waste will last much longer and that is what we fear

But isn’t it funny that the governments just announced
A brand new fleet of nuclear subs armed with tridents waiting to pounce
On the by-product of that nuclear waste which is weapons grade material
Our reliance on nuclear power must be absolutely zero
